My Little Information about Stock Market

*Bloggers Note: I'm making an attempt to have a book review on this blog. During my Law School days I have no time to read other books beside my Law Books other than having an occasional John Grisham, Dan Brown and Paulo Coelo on the side and a lot of newspaper. So here is my first try.

I grew up thinking that the only way to earn an interest of someone’s hard earned money is to save it to Bank. It is only in College when I realized that you could invest it in the Stock Market. But I am still clueless right now on how the system works. I made few attempts to divulge into stocks by asking friends who are now working in banks. But I’m still groping on the basics.

My brother and I bought this book by Bo Sanchez’s “My Maid Invests in the Stock Market”. For those who doesn’t have a time to read or simply just can’t stand a few pages of a book, this 80 pages book is for you. Yes, you can finish this book with just one sitting. Brother Bo's My Maid... discusses the very basics of investing in a stock market and it clearly pointed out the rule on investing only in giant companies like Metrobank, Banco de Oro, Jollibee, Ayala Land etc. It also discusses the difference between investing and trading in the stock market and the difference of investing in a stock and saving in a bank. And also, it discusses the step by step procedure for those who don’t know anything about the stocks just like me. There are still basic questions in my mind that hasn’t been answer and I will make more research on this. But what I like about this book is the magic that only Bo Sanchez could infuse. Yes, it discusses money but Brother Bo also integrates values, heart and faith on it. "Hindi nawala ang tatak Bo sa book na ito".

So if you want to invest in a stock market but don’t have any idea how, this book is for you.
